Retreats

Nestled among tall pines along the Jemez River in the Jemez Mountains, Hummingbird offers a peaceful, natural setting that is ideal for retreats focused on reflection, creativity, and connection. Our fifty-plus acres include wooded trails, river access, and open, park-like spaces that allow groups to spread out, unplug, and take advantage of the quiet mountain environment.

Our campus provides both large and small indoor and outdoor meeting areas, making it easy to host group sessions, workshops, and informal gatherings in flexible configurations. Optional guided hikes and campfire story times add structured yet relaxed ways for participants to build community and enjoy the landscape. With a long history as a nurturing home for music and the arts, Hummingbird carries a warm, welcoming atmosphere that supports personal renewal, group bonding, and creative work.

North Campus

Our North Campus is just a 10 minute walk across our bridge from our South Campus (Main Campus). The campus has the following:

-2 buildings for lodging (total capacity 42 people)

-1 multipurpose building (contains meeting space, tables for meals, and a full kitchen)

-further through the trees there is also a large campfire area with large pavilion.
