Checkmate your summer boredom and join us as Hummingbird Chess Camp, where strategy meets adventure in the heart of the mountains! Whether you're just learning the basics or ready to sharpen your tournament skills, our camp welcomes players of all levels.

Nestled among towering pines and breathtaking views, Hummingbird Chess Camp combines the thrill of outdoor exploration with the challenge of chess mastery. Daily lessons, friendly matches, team games and a culminating tournament awaits young minds eager to think big and play boldly.

Things to note:

-Chess campers maintain the same daily schedule as music campers.

-Chess campers also have the opportunity to try an instrument during the week(transfer class) and play in the concert in transfer band/orchestra/guitar/piano/voice.​

-Chess camp is offered week 3 of Hummingbird's summer season.

-Tuition starts at $1040.
